This is a new comedy by Australian playwright John Myst, revealing the backstage of the 20th century American beauty industry. The centerpiece of this story is a real historical figure, the cosmetic business lioness Helena Rubinstein (1872-1965). She has experienced a staggering career leap from the poor Jewish Polish family to the world's leading cosmetic entrepreneur. Her fate was intertwined with family conflicts, and a fierce battle with competitors. "Here, the opponents throws gloves of challenge at each other, baring lacquered nail guns and giving bloody lipstick smiles." This is how the comedy was presented to the public by the British press.
